Set your own schedule and receive your lessons on the days and times that work best for you.
Progress through your lessons at your own pace. Ten lessons, on average, takes one to two months to complete.
You may choose to continue your training in 10-lesson increments, purchased separately as needed.

Your individualized lessons will be provided via video recording for you to watch on your own schedule.
You will study the instruction, submit handwritten spelling assignments and take industry-specific written dictation for continuous spelling audits and feedback.
Industry-specific + general spelling rules
In every lesson, you will learn how to spell (not how to memorize) words related to your industry.
You will also receive instruction on general spelling patterns which commonly occur in everyday English print.

Beginning immediately, you will receive everything included in the Professional Spelling Program, including 10 customized, industry-specific spelling lessons. Each lesson is delivered via video recording with required handwritten assignments.

professional dyslexia assessment
Receive a comprehensive dyslexia assessment.
Receive a written report detailing the findings of the evaluation.
Receive recommendations, explanations and a written plan for moving forward with dyslexia, if it is found.
lifetime spelling class admission
Receive lifetime enrollment in April McMurtrey’s ongoing live spelling class for adults.
Class is taught online twice per week, with recordings of each class available.
The online class is provided via a Zoom webinar, is anonymous, and is attended by professionals around the globe.
The class provides an additional opportunity to apply what you will be learning in your personalized lessons.
